Hundreds of Azman airline passengers on Tuesday morning barricaded the corporate headquarters of the company in protest of their flight disruption.
The canceled Kano-Lagos flight was initially scheduled for 7.30am.
Solacebase reports that the protesting passengers who lamented inconvenience the sudden cancellation inflicted on them expressed decry the situation as there was no prior notice before the action.
Two passengers, husband and wife who have a connecting flight to London could not hide their frustration.
Another passenger who also has a connecting flight to Sudan for medical service was stranded.
A member of Kano state house of assembly who was also caught in the cancelled flight said his crucial meeting in Lagos have been disrupted.
Meanwhile, the Airline Chief Security officer Bashir Otaru who was on ground to address the passengers expressed regret over the situation.
He said the flight was cancelled for technical fault.
He said a rescheduled flight will be made available to passengers on Wednesday evening while those seeking refund would be paid.
